Government is already spending
Odisha’s AI Mission runs pilots, an AI Cell under OCAC, and a funnel from proof-of-concept to scale.
Find the problem. Implement the fix. Manage it until it returns value.
We work with businesses, government bodies and institutions across Odisha — at minimum cost. Consulting, public-sector projects, and AI training for every age, from Class 3 to working professionals.
Odisha’s AI Policy 2025 and the Odisha AI Mission are now actively funding and running AI across government. A ₹122.6 crore programme is bringing AI-enabled workflows to thousands of government offices. The state’s target is to train 75% of its government workforce in AI by 2029. And from the 2026–27 academic year, AI and computational thinking are compulsory in CBSE schools from Class 3. Businesses and institutions that move now set the terms.
Odisha’s AI Mission runs pilots, an AI Cell under OCAC, and a funnel from proof-of-concept to scale.
The CBSE Computational Thinking & AI curriculum is mandatory from Class 3, AY 2026–27. Most schools lack trained staff.
Odisha’s steel, mining, manufacturing and MSME base is adopting AI for dispatch, quality, energy and logistics.
Nineteen years of business work — then AI applied to it.
Utkal AI is led by Debidatta Kajal Kumar, who has worked across many different businesses since 2007, long before AI became the phrase on every boardroom agenda. Finding the real problem in an organisation is not a technology exercise, it is a business exercise — we have done the business part for 19 years. Based in Bhubaneswar, working across Odisha and beyond with government bodies, businesses and institutions.

Every engagement starts the same way: understand how the organisation actually makes and loses money, then decide whether AI is even the right answer. Sometimes it is. Sometimes a cheaper fix comes first. Saying so is why clients keep working with us.
Every engagement is shaped to the organisation in front of us. These are the four things we do most.
You know AI matters but not what it should change first.
Public-sector AI has to survive audit, handover and scale — not just a demo.
Your people cannot use what they have not been taught.
Most consultants leave after the report. The value is in what keeps working after they go.
Not sure which you need? Book a 30-minute consultation.
We teach AI to whoever is in front of us — a child meeting the idea for the first time, a student who needs it for placement, or a professional whose job is changing underneath them.
Logical thinking, patterns and responsible use — taught through activity and play.
The CBSE CT-AI curriculum delivered, with teacher training so it continues.
Project-based, practical skills that make a graduate employable.
Applied AI for the job you already do — trained by role, on real tasks.
The CBSE Computational Thinking & AI curriculum is now mandatory from Class 3. For this age the goal is not coding — it is logical thinking, pattern recognition, problem-solving and responsible use, learned through activity, puzzles and play.
For Classes 6–8 the CBSE curriculum adds foundational AI concepts, ethics and project work. We deliver the programme, and we train your teachers so it continues without us.
Employers now assume AI literacy. We build the practical, project-based skills — and the confidence to use them — that make a graduate employable in an AI-shaped market.
Managers, finance, operations, teachers, officers and technical teams need AI for the work they already do — not a computer-science degree. We train by role, on real tasks, in the least time that produces competence.
Ask about a programme for your school, college, team or department. Get in touch.
Same discipline every time, whether it is a shop floor in Cuttack or a department in Bhubaneswar.
We sit with your team and look at how the organisation really runs — where money leaks, where time is lost, where people are overloaded.
We name the specific problem, and say plainly whether AI is the right fix — or whether a cheaper one comes first.
A costed implementation plan: what gets built, what it costs to run, and what it should return. Minimum cost to reach the outcome, not maximum spend.
We put the system in, train the people who will use it, and manage the rollout through the hard middle where projects usually stall.
We measure against the original problem. We stay until it works; then we make sure your team can keep it working.
Solving business problems since 2007 — most AI firms here did not exist five years ago.
Based in Bhubaneswar, working across Odisha, on-site and remote.
One practice covering public bodies, institutions and private businesses.
We publish what we can evidence, and leave a slot empty rather than fill it with a claim.
Most AI firms in this market did not exist five years ago. We have been solving business problems since 2007–08.
Working across many different businesses — long before AI reached the boardroom agenda.
Documentation, compliance and handover discipline that survives scrutiny.
The full ladder: children → school students → graduates → working professionals.
Find the problem, implement the fix, manage it until it returns value.
Our founder has worked across many industries since 2007. We find your specific problem before we propose any technology.
We do not hand over a report and disappear. We manage the implementation until it returns value.
Work with government bodies teaches documentation, compliance and handover that survives scrutiny.
We publish what we can stand behind. We would rather leave this short than fill it with claims we cannot evidence — and we will not buy reviews or borrow another firm’s numbers.
The problem, what was implemented, and the measured result.
Public-sector work we are permitted to reference.
Cost saved, time saved, revenue affected — real figures only.
Named clients and testimonials, with their permission.
Enquiries from organisations that want a reference are welcome — ask us and we will connect you with one where we have permission to.
We look at how your organisation runs, find the specific problem worth solving, then implement an AI-based fix and manage it until it returns value. That can be as small as automating a manual process, or as large as training a whole department to use AI well.
We do not assume it is. We look at your operations, find where value leaks, and choose the cheapest effective fix. If that is not AI, we say so.
Yes. We consult on government projects and build the documentation and officer training that public-sector AI needs to survive audit and scale.
Training across the full range: children from Class 3 aligned to the CBSE AI curriculum, school students, graduates, and working professionals.
Yes. We deliver the curriculum content and train your teachers so the programme continues independently.
It depends on the problem, and we work to minimum cost rather than a fixed package. Engagements start with a consultation and a written scope.
We are based in Bhubaneswar and work across Odisha, with on-site work in and around the city and remote delivery elsewhere.
Book a consultation. We will spend a short conversation understanding your problem, and tell you honestly whether and how we can help.
Tell us what is not working — the process that is too slow, the cost that keeps rising, the team that needs training. We will tell you whether AI can help, and what it would take.
